C-Master DOS Version
C-Master for DOS fills the gap left by some of the other products on the market. These gaps are in the user interface, error checking, and flexibility.
The user interface is similar to what you see may every day - a fill-in-the-blank form, with the fields identified. Tab and back-tab allow you to navigate between the various fields with ease. Special processing of the data entered is performed for error checking and correction. Why is this special? Because this checking function is tailored to the data being input, the correctness of the inputs is assured, reducing the amount of time spent correcting the data once it entered.
Flexibility is a hallmark of C-Master. There are no proprietary file formats - it's all straight characters! This means that you can use other software to read the lithologic files, if you so desire. Or you can manipulate another programs data to match the C-Master format. Output products are designed to be flexible also, with reports neatly formatted for easy inclusion into final documents. In addition, processing output from C-Master is specifically designed to feed spreadsheet programs, simplifying your tasks even more.
