If you are moving an installation to Windows 7, read below! If you're having issues moving C-Master to a new computer (not Windows 7), click here for help! If you are still on Windows ME, this link will help you as well, as this "fix" for Windows 7 will likely work for Windows ME.

CJD Software markets a standard product to automate borehole data management. Targeted for the coal industry, and applicable to other geologic pursuits, C-Master has proven itself to be a workhorse for borehole analysis and graphic display.

Windows 7

If you have C-Master and are wondering about compatibility with Windows 7, there is good news! There is a product that should allow the DOS version of C-Master to run under 64-bit Windows 7 in a DOS emulation mode, and it currently in test. I expect to have the definitive word by the end of February 2011.

The setup instructions are easy, and can be viewed here. This will require that you install some additional software items, and edit your COALCNFG.DAT files manually, but the process is easy.
